Spin training and Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) benefit pilots of all experience levels, particularly those seeking a deeper understanding of aircraft behavior in critical situations. This training is especially valuable for pilots preparing for aerobatic competitions, flight instructors, and professional airline pilots.
Through hands-on experience, pilots learn to recognize the early signs of an impending spin or upset and master proven recovery techniques to regain control quickly and safely. By exploring the edges of the flight envelope in a controlled environment, pilots gain confidence, sharpen their overall flying skills, and become far better equipped to handle unexpected or challenging flight conditions.
Ultimately, spin training and UPRT are essential for any pilot who wants to elevate their airmanship and aviation expertise to the highest level.
Absolutely! We launched this business with flight instructor candidates in mind. Although the FAA mandates spin training, very few providers deliver it with the depth and instructional expertise needed to truly understand spins and loss-of-control recovery techniques.
When you train with us, you’ll leave not only with the required endorsement, but also with the practical knowledge and confidence to teach these critical maneuvers effectively—making you a significantly safer, more competent flight instructor.
Through our partnership with B.A.C. Helicopters, we offer scenic tours and helicopter flight training in an Enstrom F-28F. Our tours seat you plus one friend or family member and feature breathtaking flights over the Rochester skyline, the dramatic Chimney Bluffs State Park, beautiful Sodus Point, NY, or the stunning Finger Lakes region.
When you’re ready to take the controls instead of just enjoying the view, we provide helicopter flight training for private, commercial, and CFI candidates.
